We're nominated for a Wales Start-Up award!

I’m so excited to share with you all that VALA has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Rising Star category at the Wales Start Up Awards! Creating VALA has been a whirlwind ride and I was passionate about us being a proudly Welsh brand, so it’s really lovely to be considered for this. ⁣

It’s my hope for the future that VALA can offer jobs to local Welsh people that want to work in a creative or sports field. I always felt when I was younger that I needed to be in London or another major city to really further my career, but this career development came at the cost of missing my home and family.⁣
⁣
After nearly ten years living away in London and Australia and working in advertising, I moved back to Wales last year to train as a Personal Trainer and get VALA off the ground. Since coming home, I’ve been so inspired by the new independent businesses and networking events popping up and I am certain that we will be able to hold on to our local talent and reinvest into our thriving communities.
