WE WON A NOURISH AWARDS GOLD MEDAL

Well, this is a mega ‘pinch me’ moment. You might remember way back in September that we won a Gold Medal at the Nourish Awards @nourishawards in the ‘High Protein & Sports Nutrition’ category. Our award recently got delivered and I’m so excited to share it with you all! As I always say… it’s OUR award 🙌🏻

When I started VALA last year, I added ‘winning a Nourish Award’ to my VALA vision board and would look at it every day. Now it’s really cool to have one sitting proudly on our shelf a whole year and a half later.

Nourish is one of the UK’s leading health food awards and it proudly supports brands that provide healthier alternatives to similar products on the market. Their criteria for submission is extremely strict and the awards encourages entrants to be as transparent as possible with their ingredients, which I love.

As most of you know, I started VALA because my partner Dann kept feeling unwell after eating “normal” energy gels during his marathon training and racing. The ethos of Nourish really resonated with me because of their commitment to honesty and it makes winning an award feel extra special. If you follow a ‘free from’ diet, definitely check out their nominees and winners, as they have some truly amazing and inspiring brands in their shortlist.

Nourish goes above and beyond to champion brands that are packed with nutrition and taste, so it’s an absolute honour to have our gels recognised by the judges.
