The importance of grounding
It’s said that time in nature can generate a whole spectrum of positive emotions, including calmness, happiness, increased creativity and greater concentration.
So honour yourself this week by taking a break from your screen and grounding (or earthing).
Some of my favourite ways to ground include:
- Going for a walk in the forest or along the beach and taking my shoes off to really connect with the earth
- Meditating and practicing conscious breathing
- Cooking a nutritious plant based meal that’s good for mind and body
